Engle Fire Grant Assistance Program: Many Engle Tanks Part of Past Awards Helping Rural and Volunteer Departments Meet Community Needs
Latest News:
(Sauk Centre, Minnesota) – Engle Custom Tanks has launched a program to help local fire departments apply for Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG). Many local and volunteer fire departments have made Engle-built custom tank and pumper equipment part of their grant money programs.
Engle’s grant assistance program includes project narratives, case studies and technical specifications to help fire departments successfully compete for the grant awards.
Engle's grant assistance is aimed at smaller rural and volunteer departments that may not have the resources to submit grant applications, yet need basic firefighting equipment.
The Engle tank website (www.englefab.com) has more information on the grant assistance program, or call Engle directly at 1-800-752-5159.
The AFG program awards grants directly to fire departments (paid and volunteer) across the U.S. to enhance their ability to protect the health and safety of the public and firefighting personnel, with respect to fire and fire-related hazards. Part of the Homeland Security Act, this includes equipment support. Grants are awarded on a competitive basis to applicants that address AFG program priorities, demonstrate financial need, and demonstrate the benefit to be derived from their projects.
